About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred
• Three to six months related experience and/or training
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Create kits according to written procedures and formulas while maintaining quality standards.
• Weigh “partial ingredients” according to the required amount of each raw ingredient per kit and label appropriately.
• Correctly document the issued quantities for every ingredient and lot number per kit.
• Inspect for quality and accuracy of quantities on all kits.
• Sign-off on all completed kits prior to shipping it to the plant.
• Responsible for the quality, traceability and accuracy of all kits.
• Report directly to Ingredient Control Supervisor as needed to communicate updates or modification of the kitting schedule, stock taking, Master Sanitation and additional various duties.
• Properly dispose of ingredient packaging materials.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment by cleaning/sanitizing equipment, kit room and warehouse.
• Partake in warehouse upkeep tasks.
• Organize raw ingredients according to the F.I.F.O./F.I.F.E. principle.
• Maintain ingredients to be stored according to customer specifications.
• Complete physical weekly and monthly inventory reports for Procurement.
• Responsible for all Shipping and Receiving accuracy and inspection of quality of raw ingredients at the Bevan Warehouse.
• Complete required paperwork: Manufacturing Orders, Logs, Trailer Receipts, etc.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment according to SOP’s & GMP’s.
• Transport ingredient pallets via forklift.
• Complete other duties as assigned within the Blending Department.
• Other duties may be assigned.
