About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain
• Reliable, positive, and team‑oriented

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with young children (preferred but not required for Assistants)
• CDA or degree in Early Childhood, experience in licensed childcare

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, engaging, and safe classroom environment
• Support hands‑on learning, social‑emotional development, and age‑appropriate skills
• Guide children through daily routines with patience and positivity
• Communicate daily with families
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom
• Collaborate with co‑teachers and leadership
• Lead Teachers also take the lead on lesson planning, classroom organization, and developmental observations.
• Assistant Teachers support lesson implementation, help maintain an organized classroom environment, and assist with developmental observations.
