About The Position

The Learning Experience – Astoria is looking for energetic, dependable, and caring Assistant Teachers to join their team. Whether supporting infants, toddlers, or preschoolers, the Assistant Teacher plays an important role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive every day. The role involves working alongside Lead Teachers to create meaningful learning experiences while ensuring every child feels safe, supported, and loved.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a licensed daycare or childcare center.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn, grow, and support all aspects of the classroom.
Ability to pass all required background checks and state compliance requirements.
