Surgical Technician Jobs

About The Position

Requirements

• Has thorough knowledge of surgical supplies, equipment, surgical supply chain, and policies and procedures including supply distribution and materials handling systems
• High school graduate or equivalent required
• Basic computer skills required

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years of experience in surgical services preferred

Responsibilities

• Follows establishes metric based goals and tracking for inventory and financial performance to include inventory levels, inventory accuracy, stock outs, and other indicators of performance as needed
• Represents the departmental interests on operational and supply committees and provide logistical expertise to the flow of supplies in and out of surgical services in alignment with clinical needs and geography
• Tracks local vendor performance and compliance with the Reptrax system within surgical services
• Maintains inventory for all supplies used in Operating Rooms and Sterile Core
