About The Position

The Learning Experience is seeking a passionate and dedicated Substitute Teacher to help children learn, play, grow, and thrive in a positive and engaging environment. The role partners with preschool teachers to implement the company’s proprietary curriculum and uses engaging characters to support children’s learning and development. Substitute Teachers help maintain quality, compliance, health, and safety standards in classrooms and programs; collaborate with colleagues to create a welcoming daycare environment; and communicate with parents and families about children’s activities and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions. The position offers flexible hours between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Weekly scheduled hours vary according to the center’s needs, with availability for 15–35 hours per week requested.

Requirements

  • Genuine passion for the education and care of children.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Meet applicable state licensing requirements for the role.
  • Flexible schedule and availability to work 15–35 hours per week.

Nice To Haves

  • Early childhood education coursework preferred.
