About The Position

Requirements

• Be enrolled in an accredited RN program.
• Complete a foundational nursing skills course or equivalent, such as fundamentals, foundations, or adult/pediatric health; the posting specifies that nursing fundamentals must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the nurse with patient and family education.
• Document patient care activities using correct medical terminology.
• Act as a 1:1 patient safety sitter as necessary.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are available to meet each patient's needs.
• Implement direct patient care under the supervision of the nursing team.
• Collect clinical data and patient information and report abnormal findings to the nurse.
• Instruct patients in preparations for tests and procedures.
