About The Position
Innovate Rehab and Wellness is seeking a Licensed PRN Speech-Language Pathologist for a Skilled Nursing Facility. This is a PRN (as-needed) position with flexible scheduling options designed to support work-life balance. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders to help patients improve function and overall quality of life. Innovate Rehab and Wellness has over 25 years of experience as a leading skilled healthcare provider, focusing on industry-leading, patient-centered care with a strong emphasis on individualized therapy and clinical outcomes. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (accredited program)
- Valid state SLP license
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and patient-care skills
Nice To Haves
- CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred
- Prior speech therapy experience preferred (new grads welcome)
- CPR certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques
- Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care
- Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately
- Stay current with best practices and advances in speech-language pathology
