About The Position

The Kidney Care Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dialysis Nurse to oversee the operations of their dialysis center in Lubbock, Texas and Hobbs New Mexico. As a Director, the individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of the facility, ensuring compliance with regulations, fostering a positive work culture, and delivering superior patient care. The Kidney Care Center has two clinic locations in Lubbock, TX and Hobbs, NM, offering Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis. The Lubbock clinic operates Monday-Saturday, and the Hobbs clinic operates Monday, Wednesday, Friday for Hemodialysis with Peritoneal Dialysis also available. Both clinics are closed on Sundays. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a dialysis setting as Registered Nurse
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of dialysis procedures, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using healthcare management software and technology.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft OFFICE, WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT.
  • Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or approved for a valid religious or medical exemption.

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective leadership and management to the facility staff, promoting teamwork, and a patient-centered culture.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and staffing, including scheduling, patient care, inventory management, building and equipment maintenance and financial performance.
  • Ensure adherence to all state and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and industry standards.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives and maintain a strong focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals, including physicians and nurses, to optimize patient treatment plans and outcomes.
  • Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and identify areas for improvement to maximize the facility's efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate staff members, providing ongoing support and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages growth, teamwork, and open communication.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, their families, and the local community.
  • Ensure patient treatments are uninterrupted during dialysis treatment hours (5am-9pm Monday-Saturday).
