About The Position
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with ICU experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Michigan RN License, BLS, and ACLS certifications, along with at least one year of relevant experience. Proficiency in EKG interpretation is required. Experience with managing ventilators is preferred, as are skills in CRRT and balloon pumps. The role may require floating to similar units.
Requirements
- Michigan RN License
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- 1+ year of ICU experience (floating experience does not count)
- Comfortable with EKG interpretation
- Willingness to float to similar units
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Neuro ICU
- Experience in CVICU
- Experience in Trauma ICU
- Experience managing ventilators
- Experience with CRRT
- Experience with Balloon Pumps
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting.
- Manage patients on ventilators.
- Monitor patient vital signs and EKG.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team.
- Float to similar units as needed.
