About The Position
Treasure Hills Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is hiring a Respiratory Therapist to assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders as prescribed. The role assumes primary responsibility for respiratory therapies, including supervision of respiratory therapy technicians, and works with other resident services to support continuity of care. The therapist also maintains patient records and documents respiratory care services and patient responses.
Requirements
- Possess a current Respiratory Therapist license issued by the state.
Responsibilities
- Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders as prescribed.
- Assume primary responsibility for respiratory therapies, including supervising respiratory therapy technicians.
- Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures; maintain patient records; and select, assemble, check, and operate equipment.
- Collaborate and coordinate respiratory services with other resident services to ensure continuity of the resident’s total regimen of care.
- Complete and review respiratory therapy notes and charting, ensuring they describe the care provided and document the response to care.
