About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide efficient, quality-oriented patient care within the department’s policies and procedures. The role also performs equipment support activities, including maintenance, changes, and inventory, and sets up and operates respiratory care equipment used to diagnose and treat respiratory disease and illness.

The position is PRN on the day shift at Vibra Hospital of Sacramento in Folsom, California. The hospital is a 58-bed critical care hospital serving patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries, including patients with medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing needs, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator-weaning needs.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
• ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor within six months of hire.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

• One year of critical care and/or artificial airway and ventilator care experience preferred.
