About The Position
The Respiratory Therapist evaluates, treats, and manages patients with respiratory issues, providing specialized respiratory care to improve patient outcomes. The position requires night shifts from 6:45 PM to 6:45 AM and is available at multiple locations within the region.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Current state licensure or certification as required.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments to identify respiratory care needs.
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications as prescribed.
- Monitor patients’ progress and responses to therapy.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory health and therapy techniques.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
