About The Position
The Sati Laboratory, led by Principal Investigator Pascal Sati, PhD, focuses on developing novel imaging biomarkers, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques, and artificial intelligence (AI) methods to enhance the clinical care for individuals with neurological disorders. The Research Associate I will work under direct supervision, performing computational procedures to support laboratory research projects in Neuroimaging. This role involves assisting with laboratory activities, maintaining imaging pipelines and computer equipment, and keeping accurate records of imaging datasets, pipelines, and results. The incumbent will be responsible for routine image processing and analysis of neuroimaging datasets. This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
- Ability to perform routine image processing and analysis of neuroimaging dataset.
- Keeps accurate and detailed records of imaging dataset, pipelines and results.

- Experience with novel imaging biomarkers.

- Experience with artificial intelligence (AI) methods.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of routine laboratory tasks and procedures related to Neuroimaging.
- Assists in the operation of specialized computing equipment.
- Performs lab maintenance duties, including data backup and software upgrades.
- Assists students and fellows at the laboratory.
- Maintains lab computer equipment and related records.
- Observes and aligns with safety standards and procedures.
- Performs image processing, image segmentation and image analysis of neuroimaging dataset.
- Implements and optimizes image processing algorithms used in neuroimaging research.
