About The Position

Requirements

• At least 6 years of demonstrated software development experience using SAFe or similar Agile methodologies, including working with Scrum Masters and/or Product Owners to decompose high-level requirements into actionable user stories.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts and challenges or obstacles verbally and in writing.
• Ability to lead and direct software developer teams through Program Increment and program iteration planning.
• Ability to identify and mitigate impediments to the software development schedule.
• Training and/or certification as a Scrum Master by an educational or professional association.
• Demonstrated success delivering functional code to the Government’s satisfaction using agile design and development techniques.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required to start, with the ability to gain and maintain a Polygraph.
• Minimum education and experience: Master’s degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years, Associate degree plus 12 years, or at least 15 years of relevant experience.
• Compliance with company drug and alcohol policies and successful completion of the drug screening process, which may include pre-hire screening for marijuana and other federally controlled substances.
• Complete applicable safety training and responsibilities and comply with applicable safety, quality, environmental, operational, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and run Program Increment Planning Events (PIPE), including pre-PIPE meetings and work scoping, and submit post-PIPE team commitments for Government approval.
• Coordinate Change Review Board (CRB) review of future developmental work.
• Coordinate the program schedule, including internal, external, and Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) test scheduling.
• Manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Coordinate and facilitate End of Sprint reviews.
• Supervise the program’s Scrum Masters and User Engagement Manager.
• Recommend changes to improve established application and organizational processes.
• Identify, track, and overcome dependencies and risks to meet stakeholder commitments.
• Plan and execute project and release train initiatives, facilitate release and Increment planning meetings, and coordinate release-related activities and documentation.
• Lead and direct software developer teams through Program Increment and program iteration planning.
• Identify and mitigate impediments to the software development schedule.
