McKesson is hiring a dedicated Retail Value Stream Release Train Engineer for CoverMyMeds’ Access & Affordability product suite, which provides integrated solutions to help patients overcome medication access barriers and supports providers in initiating, managing, and tracking patient access. The role serves as the chief facilitator for alignment, execution, and continuous improvement across multiple teams, operating within the Retail Suites SAFe Operating Model and Lean Portfolio Management framework. It establishes the operating cadence that enables work to flow from strategy through delivery and applies independent judgment to coach teams and leaders, improve predictability, manage dependencies, resolve complex delivery challenges, and deliver value at scale. The position enables system-level alignment and execution; it does not own product priorities, technical architecture, team-level delivery decisions, or people management. The Release Train Engineer connects Product Management, Technology, User Experience, Data, portfolio partners, and business leadership, maintaining visibility into ART health and outcomes and communicating risks, dependencies, decisions, and improvement opportunities. AI-enabled analytics and tools are used to identify bottlenecks and risks, model scenarios, support dependency management, and inform adaptive decisions during planning and execution. McKesson offers a competitive compensation package. The base pay range for this position is $115,400–$192,300; additional compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities, may also be offered. Pay is determined by factors including performance, experience, skills, equity, market evaluations, and geographic market.
