About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join the specialized imaging team at a premier academic medical center. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical expertise in interventional procedures and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiology, or related field.
- New York State License, Registration, or Eligible
- Current CPR certification
- Registration certification for Contrast Injection required.
- ARRT certification must be obtained within one year of appointment.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive technical experience.
- Proficiency in interventional radiology equipment operation and imaging procedures.
- Strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex interventional radiology procedures under physician direction
- Operate and maintain specialized interventional imaging equipment
- Prepare and administer contrast media according to established protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and status during procedures
- Maintain sterile field and assist with invasive procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
