About The Position

Requirements

• At least 1 year of RN experience; oncology experience is preferred.
• Diploma in Nursing or an Associate Degree in Nursing (required).
• Knowledge of the nursing process and nursing practice.
• Proficiency using clinical technical equipment, such as stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers, and electronic monitoring devices.
• Registered Nurse (RN) Ohio and/or Multi-State Compact License, required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), required upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Oncology nursing experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MN).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), if required by the unit’s clinical care standards.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), if required by the unit’s clinical care standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, age-specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process.
• Deliver effective, relationship-based nursing care.
• Apply technical skills in care delivery to support safe practice and positive patient outcomes.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
• Develop professionally and contribute to the practice of nursing.
• Demonstrate leadership that influences clinical and operational outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with applicable policies and standards.
• Safeguard protected health information and follow related training, conduct, policies, and procedures.
