Registered Nurse Radiation Oncology

About The Position
The Registered Nurse assists physicians in the care and teaching of patients in the Radiation Oncology Division. The role includes customer service, patient assistance system and documentation, and telephone triage.
Requirements
- A valid Florida RN license is required.
- Current CPR certification is required; AHA certification is preferred.
- BLS is required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment; FCS will provide a BLS course during the first 30 days.
- Ability to assess patient needs and condition.
- Strong critical-thinking skills and ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong EMR skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in radiation therapy.
- Experience with hematology/oncology or radiation oncology patients in a clinic or hospital.
