About The Position

Requirements

• High School diploma, or equivalent; will consider a combination of course work and direct work experience.
• 1+ year of experience in Quality Assurance, technical documentation or quality auditing experience within a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent Technical Writing ability/background with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organization and an ability to follow instructions, schedules, timelines and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong aptitude with computers.
• Experience in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills, ability to present to internal team members and customers required.
• Excellent accuracy and follow-through; self-starter who is able to work independently and within teams; takes ownership and accountability in daily work; curious and continual learner who thinks outside the box; ability to listen actively, communicate effectively, and influence cross-functional teams; skilled with building relationships to support seamless project execution.

Nice To Haves

• ASQ or Certified Quality Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, maintenance and updating of controlled documents for the Safety, Quality and Production areas, ensuring complete and accurate documentation.
• Assist in receipts of raw material, review of required supplier data, acquisition of sample retains, and release of products to manufacturing when approved to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain equipment calibrations and calibration database to ensure compliance and accurate recordkeeping.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, conducting, and reporting Quality Management System audits to ensure compliance.
• Document corrective actions as required by internal and external groups to ensure transparency and compliance.
• Maintain and monitor First Article Inspection processes to ensure alignment with industry standards.
• Track, log, and report daily scrap to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
• Communicate with internal and external groups to ensure transparency and timely communications.
• Travel to and from all DTI buildings to collect and send out calibrated equipment, and/or products for testing.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all company processes, systems, procedures, and policies including quality and all proprietary information, 100% of the time.
