About The Position

Infinite Care Consulting is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work in a long-term care rehabilitation setting at a skilled nursing facility serving elderly patients. The PTA performs patient-related activities and therapeutic interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The role provides services to help patients maximize independence and maintain health when limited by physical injury or illness, cognitive impairment, psychosocial dysfunction, mental illness, developmental or learning disabilities, or adverse environmental conditions. The position is located at Buena Vida Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Requirements

  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license from the state is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience is preferred; new graduates are also accepted.
