About The Position
Relient Health is seeking a caring and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Wichita Falls, Texas. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, and is a direct-hire permanent placement. The facility is described as providing high-quality rehabilitation services through a collaborative, patient-focused therapy department. The PTA will join a supportive rehabilitation team with access to modern equipment, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth. New graduates and experienced PTAs are welcome.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current Texas license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Document patient progress using EMR systems.
- Communicate and collaborate with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and nursing staff.
- Promote patient independence and mobility.
