About The Position

Adoration Home Health is seeking a dedicated Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to provide patient-centered care in Vienna, West Virginia, covering Wood and Pleasants Counties. The PTA provides physical therapy services planned, delegated, and supervised by a qualified Physical Therapist, in accordance with each patient’s Plan of Treatment. The role involves regular coordination with the Physical Therapist, communicating patient needs and progress, supporting the use of adaptive equipment, and maintaining treatment and billing documentation in accordance with applicable requirements.

The position is full-time and offers one-to-one patient care, flexible scheduling options, independent work with team support, and opportunities for advancement. Adoration Health is an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services and provides compassionate services in patients’ homes, supporting patients, families, and caregivers.

Requirements

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state where practicing.
• Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance with state regulations.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services planned, delegated, and supervised by a qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment.
• Confer regularly with the Physical Therapist about the patient’s treatment plan, progress toward goals, questions, and concerns.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record.
• Assist in securing special adaptive equipment to improve patient function and incorporate adaptive equipment into the rehabilitation program.
• Maintain and submit patient treatment and billing documentation in the formats and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
