About The Position

Adoration Home Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide patient-centered home health care in Fayetteville, Georgia, covering Fayette, Clayton, and Coweta Counties. The role provides one-to-one care in patients’ homes, with a full-time Monday–Friday visit schedule and flexible scheduling options. PTAs work independently while receiving team support and provide services planned, delegated, and supervised by a qualified Physical Therapist.

Requirements

• Hold a current unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state where practicing.
• Hold current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification in accordance with state regulations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services planned, delegated, and supervised by a qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment.
• Regularly confer with the Physical Therapist about the patient’s treatment plan, progress toward goals, questions, and concerns.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record.
• Assist in securing special adaptive equipment to improve patient function and incorporate adaptive equipment into the rehabilitation program.
• Maintain and submit patient treatment and billing documentation according to required formats and timelines, and applicable company, facility, funding-source, local, state, and federal requirements.
