About The Position
We’re seeking an experienced Nursing Director of Trauma Program to lead and grow a high-performing Trauma Services / Emergency & Critical Care program. This is a key leadership role for a Trauma Program Manager / Director with strong clinical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and a passion for improving trauma patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Active Florida RN license (or compact)
- 5+ years of trauma, ER, or critical care nursing experience
- Prior experience in Trauma Program leadership or coordination
- Strong knowledge of trauma standards, registry, and PI processes
- BSN required
- TNCC, BLS, ACLS required

- MSN preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead the Trauma Program operations, strategy, and performance improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ACS Trauma Verification, Florida Department of Health, and regulatory standards
- Oversee trauma registry, PI processes, and data-driven quality improvement
- Collaborate with trauma surgeons, ER, ICU, and hospital leadership
- Drive patient safety, clinical excellence, and trauma readiness
- Manage staff, education, policies, and program development
