The SCIS Department of the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park, PA) invites applications for a clinical professor position in Supply Chain and Information Systems for a Spring 2027 start date. This is a term position; length of the term will be discussed during the interview process. Continuation past the term length discussed will be based on university need, performance, and/or availability of funding. Onsite teaching is an essential function of the job. Candidates must have a terminal degree in supply chain management, information systems, business analytics or related field prior to their start date. A strong commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate and graduate programs is required. The SCIS Department comprises a vibrant, research-active faculty with research and teaching interests that traverse the end-to-end supply chain and includes information systems, data analytics, business logistics, sourcing, and operations. The department offers degree programs in supply chain management, management information systems, and business analytics. We seek outstanding candidates with expertise in supply chain management and/or business analytics that would complement the faculty with high-quality teaching in student-centered and collaborative learning environments. Candidates should be able to teach undergraduate and master level courses in supply chain management, business analytics, and information systems.
