About The Position
This position is for a Visiting Instructor/Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Teacher Education. The role requires a graduate degree in a relevant field, relevant professional experiences in educational or other settings, and content and pedagogical knowledge for the specific course. The ability to teach adult learners and experience teaching or working directly with students online are essential. A demonstrated commitment to teaching in diverse settings and working with students from culturally and linguistically diverse communities is also required.
Requirements
- Must hold a graduate degree in a relevant field.
- Relevant professional experiences in educational or other settings as appropriate to the specific course.
- Content and pedagogical knowledge are required for the specific course.
- Ability to teach adult learners.
- Experience teaching or working directly with students online.
- Demonstrated commitment to and teaching in diverse settings, as well as working with students from culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

- Prior higher education teaching experience.
- Appropriate California teaching credential if applicable to program requirement.
