About The Position
LOT Commercial Property Services is a fast-growing commercial maintenance company specializing in retail centers and commercial properties, managing over 100 million square feet. The company emphasizes that great properties are built with great people. Day Porters are considered the core of their sites, responsible for maintaining clean, welcoming, and business-ready spaces daily. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy being active. This is a temporary assignment with an anticipated duration of approximately three months.
Requirements
- A strong communicator in English or Spanish – both written and verbal
- Familiar with using a mobile device (such as a cell phone or tablet) regularly for time keeping and document review
- Enjoys providing friendly customer service
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently
- Physically active and enjoy being on your feet outdoors
Nice To Haves
- Experienced in janitorial, custodial, or porter work
Responsibilities
- Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day
- Pick up trash and empty receptacles
- Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces
- Clean restrooms and high-traffic areas
- Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills
- Remove debris like stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti
- Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness
- Report maintenance or repair needs to your supervisor
- Always use required safety equipment
