About The Position

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Sleep or Respiratory Therapy program
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) License
• Registered (RRT) by the NBRC or eligible
• Minimum of two (2) years of scoring experience with polysomnograms or Respiratory Therapy, sleep experience preferred
• Experience working in a Sleep Lab performing a variety of tests, including OPSG, MSLT, and CPAP/BIPAP, TITRATIONS
• Able to communicate tactfully and effectively with patients, staff, physicians and visitors.
• Able to evaluate and provide exceptional care for patients with sleep disorder insufficiencies.

• Provide patient centered care and outstanding service delivered with respect.
• Advance the patient plan of care to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Provide age and culturally appropriate care for patients and families.
• Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with sleep disorders.
• Implement conventional ventilation methods.
• Perform a variety of duties related to setting up, operation, cleaning and storing respiratory equipment.
• Work alone with a 2:1 patient ratio with on-the-fly scoring and report completion.
• Prepare the patient for test, administer test, define the preliminary report, score the test, and maintain equipment and supplies.
