About The Position

Join a well-established and rapidly expanding healthcare practice in Alaska as a Polysomnographic Technologist. The role contributes to patients’ quality of life through sleep health services in a collaborative, patient-centered practice. The technologist performs sleep studies and related testing, provides PAP therapy support, and helps coordinate care. The position also includes supervising and mentoring technical staff and collaborating with the Medical Director and interdisciplinary team. Work hours vary based on patient needs.

Requirements

• RPSGT, RST, CRT-SDS, or RRT-SDS credential.
• Current CPR or BCLS certification from the AHA or Red Cross.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and cultural competency.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and titration polysomnography.
• Conduct Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT) and Maintenance of Wakefulness Tests (MWT).
• Perform Home Sleep Apnea Tests (HSAT).
• Initiate, titrate, and monitor PAP therapy.
• Supervise and mentor technical staff.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate patient care and ensure continuity.
