About The Position
Responsible for the effective administration of Sanoh America’s plant financial reporting and budgets. This role involves setting costing standards, maintaining plant product costing in the ERP system, and performing variance analysis between Plan / Forecast and Actuals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Accounting/Finance or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years’ progressive accounting experience
- Effective organizational and time-management skills; Able to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate MS-Office skills
- Effective analytical / problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Nice To Haves
- Preference for automotive manufacturing experience
Responsibilities
- Determines cost of operations by establishing standard costs.
- Coordinate plant’s weekly and monthly forecasts by working with both Plant and Corporate personnel.
- Identifies financial performance improvement potential by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
- Work with Cost Estimating to review New Business quotes and Engineering changes, when impacting the plant.
- Increases productivity by developing automated applications; coordinating information requirements.
- Directly assist plant management with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Works with the Finance team to complete the month close timely and accurately.
