About The Position

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current, unrestricted California licensure or eligibility for licensure
• National certification (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA)
• DEA registration or eligibility
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Additional certifications as required by the department

Nice To Haves

• Prior cardiology or electrophysiology experience
• Experience with cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs)
• Comfort working across both inpatient and ambulatory care settings
• Strong understanding of cardiac electrophysiology and arrhythmia management
• Ability to interpret complex diagnostic and device data

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical partner within the electrophysiology team, providing continuity of care through EP clinics, inpatient consultation services, procedural coordination, and longitudinal management of patients with arrhythmias and cardiac implantable electronic devices.
• Manage patients with atrial fibrillation, SVT, VT, bradyarrhythmias, syncope, and other cardiac rhythm disorders.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care for catheter ablations, cardioversions, pacemaker implants, ICD implants, CRT devices, and generator changes.
• Participate in device management, remote monitoring review, and device interrogations/programming as credentialed.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and electrophysiology program development.
