About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
• Current California Physical Therapy issued by the Physical Therapy Board
• Current Basic Life Support Certification

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
• One (1) year of professional experience with both in and outpatient areas of an acute care hospital preferred, including pre-graduate clinical internships
• Previous Skilled Nursing experience (OVCH)
• Additional Board Specialty Certification(s) by the APTA

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation and treatment to a variety of complex in and outpatient diagnoses.
• Supervises daily professional patient related activities of Physical Therapist Assistant and Physical Therapy Aides.
• Communicates Physical Therapy goals and patient information to physician, hospital staff, and agents of reimbursement.
