About The Position

We’re looking for a Phlebotomist to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring accurate and professional specimen collection services. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt seamlessly to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Phlebotomist will ensure all patient paperwork is accurately completed, perform specimen collections including blood and urine with precision and care, serve as a liaison between patients, clients, and laboratory staff, adhere to all confidentiality, HIPAA, and compliance standards, monitor inventory and ensure collection supplies are fully stocked, maintain accurate client records, stay current on training and best practices, provide regular updates and collaborate with office staff, laboratory technologists, and managers, and follow all state and federal laws, regulations, and company policies. The role may also involve taking on additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy Certification required.
  • Experience in specimen collection including blood and urine or related healthcare services
  • Experience with Microsoft office
  • Prior experience in a customer service position
  • Familiarity with record-keeping and administrative duties is a plus.

  • Monitor inventory and ensure collection supplies are fully stocked and ready for use.
  • Maintain accurate client records, updating information as necessary.
  • Stay current on training and best practices for urine and other specimen collections.
  • Provide regular updates and collaborate with office staff, laboratory technologists, and managers as needed.
  • Follow all state and federal laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by Gravity.
