About The Position

Sentara Health is hiring a Phlebotomist - Clinical Lab Assistant to work full time days in the central testing department in Charlottesville, VA. This role involves performing patient phlebotomy while maintaining the highest level of customer service. The duties include collecting, labeling, and processing patient specimens for testing, as well as registration and test data entry. The position also requires monitoring supply levels.

Requirements

• High School Grad or Equivalent (required)
• BLS required within 90 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy course (preferred)

• 1 year of experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform patient phlebotomy while maintaining the highest level of customer service.
