CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence in a retail store. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow practices, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team environment. After starting the role, technicians must complete the company training program and meet the registration, licensing, and certification requirements of their state; duties may be restricted until those requirements are met. Technicians may support additional patient health care services, including immunizations and point-of-care testing, when permitted by law and supported by required training and certification. Where permitted, technician immunizers complete additional training and licensure requirements, educate patients about vaccines, refer clinical questions to the pharmacist, monitor and report adverse reactions, document patient information, and manage vaccine supplies. This is a part-time position with 20 anticipated weekly hours. The stated pay range is $16.00–$24.00. The role requires predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, and may involve working at other stores in the market to meet business needs. The job includes extended periods standing and moving, handling and lifting items, reaching, repetitive finger movements, stooping, and close visual work. Occasional lifting or exertion of up to 20 pounds is required; frequent lifting or exertion of up to 10 pounds is required.
