About The Position

Requirements

• Licensed by the Commonwealth of MA as a Registered Nurse.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with hospital staff, Good Shepherd colleagues, patients, and their families
• Highly skilled at providing patient assessments and evaluations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Competency with accepted standards of hospice nursing practice.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years experience preferred in community health, oncology, hospice, or palliative care.

Responsibilities

• Provide information about hospice services to patients, families, and hospital-based staff.
• Conduct clinical assessments.
• Coordinate hospital discharge plans.
• Maintain professional relationships within hospitals, with a focus on the assigned hospital(s).
