This is a fulltime night shift position working on a consistent 7:00 pm - 7:00 am rotating schedule. The role involves operating and monitoring production filler equipment to ensure food safety, product quality, and conformity to customer standards and specifications. The operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently setting up, operating, and cleaning filler machines/equipment, and must be proficient in Sterilize-in-Place (SIP) and/or Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures. Basic clean, inspect, and lube functions, including basic Preventative Maintenance (PMs), are also part of the duties. The position requires active participation in startup, troubleshooting, adjustment, stop/reset, and shutdown of line equipment, including clearing jams and reporting malfunctions. Changeovers and line clears, accurate setup of packaging and coding for the next item, and reporting out-of-standard results to Quality and Supervision are essential. The role also includes completing documentation, maintaining work logs and inventory records, monitoring inventory and production levels for efficiency, and maintaining a clean work area. Active participation in shift exchanges and team meetings, meeting production goals, and minimizing product shrink and downtime are expected. Reporting unsafe conditions or compliance issues is also a responsibility. Understanding and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures is required. This position requires the ability to work with dairy and nut products, as well as other related ingredients and allergens.
