About The Position

Requirements

• At least 1 year of commercial housekeeping experience, preferably in a hospitality setting (preferred)
• Stand, walk, use hands, fingers, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Climb or balance.
• Talk, listen, and provide excellent guest service.
• Must frequently lift and/or move 25-50 pounds.
• Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, supporting laundry efforts, and polishing.
• Ensuring all rooms are cared for and inspected according to resort standards.
• Ensuring all vacation rentals, common areas, bathrooms, etc., are clean, “guest-ready,” and inspected in accordance with property standards.
• Cleaning guest rooms, cabins, and cottage rentals, as well as communal areas and bathhouses.
• Dusting, polishing, linen changes, bathroom cleaning and sanitation, kitchen fixtures and appliance cleaning, trash removal, vacuuming, or floor cleaning.
• Stripping and making beds.
• Ensuring rooms and rentals exceed standards and are in working order before guest arrival.
• Providing laundry support as appropriate, including washing, drying, folding, and sorting laundry at the property.
• Providing on-site guest support by responding to queries or requests through excellent customer service.
• Collaborating with guest service, housekeeping, groundskeeping, and other departments to exceed guest expectations and achieve company and departmental goals.
• Ensuring the property is clean, orderly, well-manicured, and always guest-ready.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrating regular and reliable attendance.
• Adhering strictly to rules regarding health and safety and being aware of company-related practices.
