About The Position

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietetic Technician (DTR)
• Professional team leader with demonstrated success guiding, coaching, and supporting hourly staff
• Knowledge of safe food handling, storage, and preparation
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Bachelor's degree for those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24)
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a hospital or pediatric setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of the milk lab, ensuring safe, accurate preparation and handling of formula and human milk
• Lead, coach, and support milk lab staff to ensure consistent performance and teamwork
• Manage staff scheduling, training, onboarding, and competency validation
• Monitor quality, safety, and workflow processes; drive continuous improvement
• Maintain accurate documentation, inventory, and tracking related to milk lab operations
• Specific duties and level of responsibility will vary based on the qualifications, experience, and background of the selected candidate
