About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Current NYS Nail Technician/Cosmetology license in good standing
• Previous experience providing manicures, pedicures, and nail care services
• Experience working with older adults, seniors, or in healthcare/senior living settings
• Knowledge of sanitation, infection control, and industry safety standards
• Ability to work independently and manage appointments efficiently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, nail shaping and filing, cuticle care, nail polishing and polish changes, and other approved nail services within scope of licensure
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized salon environment in compliance with state and local regulations
• Assess residents' nail care needs and provide services appropriate to their health status and mobility limitations
• Build positive relationships with residents and contribute to their overall wellness and quality of life
• Maintain professional standards of hygiene and infection control
• Set up and clean workstations before and after each appointment
• Manage appointment schedules and communicate effectively with residents and community staff
• Monitor and maintain salon supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed
• Adhere to all community policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Provide outstanding customer service while demonstrating patience, kindness, and respect
• All other duties as assigned.
