About The Position
Centurion Health is seeking a Full-time Licensed Mental Health Clinician to join their team at Topeka Correctional Facility in Topeka, Kansas. This role provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care. Services include intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.
Requirements
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution.
- Active mental health professional license in Kansas.
- Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening.
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing direct care to individuals with mental illness.
