About The Position

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent.
• Hold a current medical license in CMA, LPN, or RN, and/or have a minimum of five years of clinical medical experience.
• Technical knowledge and demonstrated ability in the health care field.
• Ability to apply current research and theory to an instructional program.
• Ability to plan and implement lessons based on division and school objectives and the needs and abilities of assigned students.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in teaching or employee training.

Responsibilities

• Teach the approved curriculum and ensure it is delivered.
• Plan a program of study that meets adult learners’ individual needs, interests, and abilities.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to adult students’ maturity and interests.
• Teach the curriculum using clear objectives.
• Assess adult students’ accomplishments regularly and provide progress reports.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law and district policy.
• Maintain and care for facilities, equipment, and inventory; notify administration when outside maintenance is needed.
