About The Position

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience performing in-process and final inspection, preferably in machining, automotive, or aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.
• Strong CMM operation experience.
• Ability to correctly use and interpret measuring tools, including weight gauge, micrometer, linear caliper scale, gauge blocks, thread gauges, and comparative standards.
• Visual inspection experience.

Nice To Haves

• Inspection experience in machining, automotive, or aerospace is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision mechanical inspection of machined parts and incoming materials to verify compliance with specifications.
• Ensure conformance requirements using calibrated measuring equipment and visual inspection.
• Interpret customer drawings and specifications, and reference company work instructions and process travelers.
• Apply basic blueprint reading and shop math, including trigonometry.
• Inspect first-off parts from manufacturing work centers.
• Collect measurement data for First Article Inspection (FAI) reports.
• Collect and provide data required for critical part Final Inspection Reports (FIRs).
