About The Position
Since 1996, RQC, LLC. (RQ) has been a trusted Design-Build contractor delivering commercial and government projects nationwide, with a strong focus on Department of Defense construction. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Drywall & Framing Mechanic to join our field team in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. This is a hands-on opportunity for a skilled craft professional with experience in carpentry, metal stud framing, drywall, and commercial construction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 5+ years of carpentry experience, including rough and/or finish carpentry.
- 2+ years of field or trade experience in commercial construction required.
- Experience framing and installing steel/metal stud systems required.
Nice To Haves
- Government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.
- ACT (Acoustical Ceiling Tile) experience preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install metal stud framing, drywall, and related commercial construction materials.
- Perform rough and finish carpentry work.
- Install ACT (Acoustical Ceiling Tile).
- Assist other trades and craft workers as needed.
- Follow all project specifications, safety requirements, and RQ policies.
