About The Position

Requirements

• 2 years of shipping & receiving experience
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and complete training as required
• Clean driving record
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Strong ability to multi-task, maintain attention to detail and organization
• Demonstrated strong communication skills
• Ability to work under limited supervision
• Ability to lift 75 pounds as needed
• Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa, or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer

Nice To Haves

• Experience with stainless steel materials including fittings, sheets, pipe, tube, and bar
• Experience in food processing industry
• Telehandler operation experience
• Construction background

Responsibilities

• Pull materials to fulfill orders including components, fittings, pipe, tube, and bar
• Inventory returned materials from jobs
• Keep track of inventory in assigned areas and participate in cycle counting
• Build pallets and shipping supports per job requirement
• Manage shipping material inventory
• Clean area at the end of every shift and maintain a safe work area
• Organize incoming materials by project and maintain records of project location
• Perform all duties following APT safety guidelines and report any unsafe conditions to manager
• Other duties as assigned
