About The Position

Wieland is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Material Handler to assist with overall operations, including processing products, maintaining inventory, setting up machine stations, and packing outgoing material. The role is located in Texas City, Texas, and is fully on-site. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour. The schedule is first shift, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Ability to work as part of a team and assist teammates when necessary.
• Ability to work flexible hours as required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, organized working environment.
• Assist in reviewing outgoing shipping documents and packaging products.
• Assist in inspecting product orders for accuracy.
• Load and unload packages from trucks.
• Report product discrepancies to management.
• Communicate actively with teammates.
• Operate forklifts to relocate material.
• Perform other operations tasks as assigned.
