About The Position

Requirements

• Must be able to frequently bend, reach, ability to push/lift 75 pounds, climb ladders, bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, crouching as job may require, ability to work in extreme temperatures, working in high noise levels requiring hearing protection, working around lubricants, solvents, batteries, cleaning fluids, paints
• Usually requires early morning, overnight, or weekend availability.
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills are highly preferred, basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent time management, strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently
• Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle and must be willing to travel, as well as being authorized to work in the United States.
• Candidates must have open and on-call emergency availability, including nights and weekends.
• Must maintain HVAC and AVO certification
• High school education or equivalent
• Must provide EPA Certification
• 5-10 years of working experience in facilities maintenance preferred
• Local travel necessary and some infrequent travel for training can be expected
• Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task
• Experience maintaining and repairing McDonald’s equipment, including (but not limited to): Garland Grills (must be certified), Frymaster and Henny Penny fryers, Melitta, Franke, Bunn, Thermoplan Espresso Machines, Multiplex and Beverage Units, HVAC, cooler and refrigerator units

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance across all properties
• Handle work orders for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
• Conduct regular property inspections and safety checks
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from maintenance scheduler
• Updating work orders, writing notes about services performed and closing requests upon completion via online portal
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed for additional troubleshooting
• Maintain clean, professional common areas and building exteriors
• Rotating on-call weekend/evening schedule for emergency response
• Updating work orders, writing notes about services performed and closing requests upon completion via our online portal.
• Notifying management when parts orders are needed for repairs
