About The Position
Carolina Sweepers has been delivering professional property maintenance services to commercial properties for over 20 years. At Carolina Sweepers, we’re looking for a hands-on, adaptable, and self-motivated Field Services Technician to join our growing team. Requirements
- 2 years of experience preferred, but not required
- Active driver license and clean driving record
- Availability to work early/late and/or on weekends as necessary
- Ability to work on ladders/roofs and near retention ponds
- Ability to lift 100 lbs or more
- Willingness to work outside in all kinds of weather and come in contact with trash
- Typical hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 6:30 pm
- Applicants must pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen before hire.
Nice To Haves
- General laborer, Handyman, Maintenance tech, Electrical, Plumbing, Asphalt, Concrete, Welding, Construction ex. experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Performing minor maintenance and repairs (electrical, plumbing, asphalt patching, etc.)
- Installing and servicing property signs
- Conducting routine property inspections
- Pressure washing
- Welding (if qualified)
- Safely operating a company vehicle and equipment
- Using mobile apps and completing daily reports
- Managing company tools and credit card with care
