About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with over 5 years of application programming and analysis experience. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and IMS DB/DC, along with a solid understanding of mainframe application development and support. This role requires a good understanding of healthcare payer functions and strong problem-solving and communication skills. The developer will be involved in the full software development life cycle, working closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and implement requirements, and will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of application programming and analysis experience
- Strong experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and IMS DB/DC
- Experience with mainframe application development and support
- Understanding of healthcare payer functions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with the full software development life cycle
Nice To Haves
- Project leadership or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
