About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Professional to join our onsite team and support critical enterprise applications running on IBM Mainframe platforms. The candidate should possess strong development, maintenance, support, and troubleshooting skills across core mainframe technologies and work closely with business, operations, and distributed application teams.

• IBM Mainframe (z/OS)
• COBOL / Enterprise COBOL
• JCL (Job Control Language)
• VSAM
• DB2 for z/OS
• CICS
• TSO/ISPF
• SDSF
• Endevor, Changeman, or similar source control tools
• Batch Processing and Job Scheduling
• Production Support and Incident Management
• Debugging and Performance Tuning of Mainframe Applications
• Application Maintenance, Enhancement, and Support
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• SDLC and Agile methodologies

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy Mainframe applications.
• Perform coding and enhancements using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Work on batch job monitoring and scheduling activities.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders for requirement clarification.
• Conduct impact analysis for application changes.
• Support system integration and user acceptance testing.
• Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer artifacts.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and operational procedures.
